I very much hope that you, your friends, family and beloved ones are well and in good spirits.
The last three months have certainly “tested the system” and the chances of me becoming a teacher are rather slim, I must say.
Currently, I plan to re-open again mid-end of July, welcoming back my guests and looking after them.
My guests will have parking on site. Arrival time from noon. Access to the guest bedroom from 4pm – unless the room was not occupied the night before. That allows me sufficient time to disinfect rooms (quite a few surfaces and objects) and the public area adequately.
Due to social distancing measures, I have redesigned my breakfast service. There are two dining tables in the kitchen-breakfast room and I intend to use one table for one couple at the time. Then there will be two sittings, one from 8-9am and the second from 9-10am. In that way, I can assure that there will be no more than two parties plus me at the same time in the room. Of course, family members and friends can sit at the same table.
The self-service breakfast buffet will still be set up. However, instead everyone going there and having to touch the juice bottles, cereal containers, milk jugs, yoghurts etc., I will ask my guests individually and will serve it – like I always have done with the hot breakfast cooked to order, in anycase.
It simply means added-on service which both my guests and I will enjoy and appreciate.
Everything else is hopefully business as usual – with adaptions, of course, like hand sanitisers.
Until sometime in the hopefully not too distant future, I wish you all the best and please stay well and keep safe.
Your Host & Owner Tobias Feilke
